Audio classes to support your home practice

Hello! This is a series of audio guides that will allow you to practice yoga anywhere, at any time.

Props like a yoga mat, blocks (or empty shoe boxes!), bolsters and blankets might be nice if you’re used to having them around. Otherwise, all you really need is some space and a practice track of your choice, and you’re ready to move!

In each of these classes, you’ll be led to move with the breath. If you’re fairly new to yoga, Soft and Grounding flow might be a good track to begin with. This is a nice and mellow one that can help to bring a bit more calm into your day. Before picking your practice track, tune in to how you feel and see what comes up. From there, you’re in charge. Let go of any expectations and try to have fun with the experience!

The great thing about an audio practice is that you can really focus on you, instead of on demonstrations or what others are doing. The bonus is getting to practice in the comfort and privacy of your favourite space! As you follow along in these classes, I invite you to drop in to your intuition and notice what feels best for you. Customise and modify as you wish: pause the clip, take an early savasana or add in some extra chaturangas and fancy variations if you’re up for it.

For those who enjoy moving to music, I’ve curated some playlists on Spotify that you might like to put on to accompany your practice. Feel free to use your own music too! These classes run for 50 to 60-ish minutes. I encourage you to design your practice space as you’d like—music, candles, scent, lighting, some tea by the side… This practice is so special; go ahead and make it your own.

Enjoy!
